IO’s Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Impact Observatory is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing a working environment that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. We acknowledge that multiple, and often intersecting, systems of power & discrimination can grant privilege & access unequally, and disproportionately, within the Tech Industry.

We strive to create and uphold hiring practices & policies to reinforce inclusivity and equity...

As a company that is still in the early stages of growth and development, we want to ensure that we have the knowledge and skills on staff to reframe the way we view DEI and its application. Our Director of HR, Compliance & DEI works closely with IO's Executive Team to examine our practices often, and design intentional spaces for all staff to grow, create and shine. We strive to create and uphold hiring practices & policies to reinforce inclusivity and equity, and we work to bring these principles and values into our daily interactions with each other, our business partners, and our customers. Currently, we promote these standards through DEI training and resources for all leadership & staff, and by specifying a DEI budget to work with hiring agencies that can help us source diverse, well qualified candidates for our technical teams.

...each individual at IO is the defining advantage of our business...

Like the satellites we utilize to create our data, the unique perspective of each individual at IO is the defining advantage of our business. The way staff members from different backgrounds, industries and cultural communities lend their lived experiences is a major contribution to our mission. With this commitment, IO will continue to welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join our collective. Wherever you are on this great planet, we hope to meet you soon!
